Day 84/85 - Sudbury

Rained out Saturday.

Sunday morning it was overcast but dry. Dad took me back to Hagar and he would pick me up in Coniston later. Gidget got another day off.

Every mile today seemed to take forever. Even though I wasn't pushing Gidget I felt sluggish and it feels like I'm running on bruised feet now. Alot of people were honking today. They must have seen the news on Friday night. I came up to a riding stable and stopped to change my socks. There was about 12 riders coming up to the stable so i watched them for a few minutes. At the same time a car pulled up in front of me. I met Amanda & Cathy who wanted to show their support. They told me about a place just outside Sudbury that assisted people with spay & neutering their pets. I went a few more miles and a fellow by the name of Dan from CBC radio stopped and did an interview. He was going to air it tomorrow. Just after he left my Dad pulled up and showed me some blueberries he had picked for me. I couldn't wait to eat them later. He also brought me a snack. I finally reached the Coniston junction where my Dad was waiting for me. He would drop me off there tomorrow on their way back to Montreal.

That night my Dad was going fishing and my Mom and I were going to visit a cousin in the hospital. After we left the hospital we dropped my aunt off at her residence. We got a call that my Dad was at a clinic because he got a hook caught in his finger. They never got the boat in the water. We laughed about it later.
