Not much sleep again last night. It thundered and rained all night. The train passed several times during the night and there was some sort of construction going on in the distance through the night and I could hear the beeping sound of a truck backing up. It was still raining in the morning and everything was soaked but it didn't matter cause I had Dryden in my sights today.
I stopped at the Can Op restaurant on my way out for breakfast. There was a family of five sitting there and could relate to how drenched I was cause they had camped out in a tent last night as well and got soaked. They told me about there vacation experiences whale watching and were interested in my experiences. It was nice talking with them.
The scenery to Dryden was much better. It had rained all the way there. I was so glad to get to Dryden and in a community again. I stopped at the Tim Horton's for a coffee. Tonight I would stay at a motel and dry things out. I spoke with Josh from the Dryden Observer and he did an interview.
It was nice to be dry and warm. I was relieved to be here.
