Before I left Dryden I had to stop at the license bureau to renew my drivers license that had expired oddly enough in July and not in January. It meant getting a later start.
Todays destination was 43 km to Vermilion Bay. The scenery was good and more communities. It didn't feel so isolated and it was warm and sunny. My pit stop was at the sheep farm which is a popular tourist site. There's an animal farm and a neat gift shop.
Todays run didn't seem so long and it was more encouraging. As I approached Vermilion Bay an OPP car was heading east and as he passed me he put on his siron. I thought that was pretty cool and made me smile. I stopped at the Village Corner store and a man was interested in my running until I told him it was in support of animals. He just shook his head and then walked away. I find that dissappointing.
I bought a few things and then stopped at the Northside RV park for the night.
Even animals need compassion and kindness!
