When the morning came I couldn't pack up quick enough. I stopped at the local cafe for breakfast and then I was gone again. The highway was getting much flatter and this was good for me. After I passed Falcon Lake the scenery changed drastically and there wasn't much to look at but flat straight road.
While I was running today I thought about my nephew Peter who just lost one of his cats. Some kids bashed its head in and it made its way home to die. How sick is that! And I thought about my niece Melissa who is battling with her neighbors because they leave their puppy on the balcony for hours without shelter even in 30 celcius weather. Whats wrong with these people?
I made it to the Pine Tree Campground just before Prawda and camped there for the night. There wasn't many people there so I knew it was going to be a much quieter night. Well, at least I thought it would be!
Even animals need compassion and kindness!
