Day 107 - Marathon

I didn't have the best sleep last night. I tossed and turned all night. I had a good start to my day though. I went to the restaurant for breakfast and the two biologists I had met the night before were there. I enjoyed chatting with them and the food was great.

It was another hot day. There were less hills until I got to Marathon. About three miles before the exit to Marathon was the Info Centre. It was at the top of a very steep long hill. It probably seemed worse than it was because I had just run 29 miles and getting tired. I made it to the top and drank two cold pops from their macine and then ran three more miles to the TravelLodge Inn at the exit to Marathon. The owner there was really great and gave me a good discount on a room. I had phoned my sister from the Info Centre and a friend of hers came out to meet me at the TravelLodge to make sure I was OK. It was great meeting her. I settled into my room and tried not to think too far ahead but in two days I will be in Terrace Bay and my sister will beable to pick me up there. I couldn't wait.
