Day 108 - Neys

I got up early enough to call the local radio station, CFNO. They did a great interview and played it that morning. While I was having breakfast before I left the TravelLodge, I met a few more people who were very supportive. Everyone signed my flag including the owner. They had been so friendly.

Today was another hot day and for the first time I wasn't feeling very well. I had an upset stomach. I thought it might have been from the heat or maybe some water I drank. It was slow going and I made a few more pit stops than usual. The were lots of hills and blackflies and the hills weren't getting any easier. My feet were killing me and I was getting tired.

I reached Neys Provincial Park and stopped there. Temperatures were above 30 C and too hot to continue with the humidity. The staff at the park were great. It was 3 km to the gate and another few km to my campsite. They drove both Gidget and I to the campsite. They didn't charge me for camping there. My sister Marie had arranged my stay there beforehand. What a great sister!
