Day 128 - Wabigoon Lake

I don't know how many times I tossed and turned last night but I know it was a lot. It seemed like there were cars coming and going all night but I haven't been sleeping well lately anyway.

I can't remember the artist or all the words but I've been singing this happy tune in the morning;
Good morning morning, hello sunshine, wakeup sleepy headJust one more minute, maybe a snooze or twoI'll make the breakfast and then make the bedI love getting up as much as I love singing to youShine on me sunshine walk with me world its a beautiful beautiful dayI'm the happiest I can be in the whole world today

First I put on my bug jacket cause I'm trying not to encourage the mosquitos eating me for breakfast. I took it off once I got to the highway. There were more horse flies on the road in this area today. They were annoying and big. Today was long. I stopped at the picnic areas for pit stops. When I reached Borups Corner it felt like going through a ghost town. The few buildings that were there were boarded up. When I reached the junction for Sioux Lookout there were some houses but no services. I knew there was a campground about four miles ahead so I kept going. Finally after thirty-eight and a half miles I got to Wabigoon Lake park. The people there were really nice. Before I had a chance to put on my bug jacket I had already been bitten several times. Elain, the owner, gave me some tomatoes and cucumber from her garden. I took a shower and washed some clothes. The weather forecast wasn't looking very good. Thunder showers for the next few days.
