Just a little past ten miles and I stopped at a side road to change my socks. There was a little red car parked off to the side. It looked like it was full of stuff. I could see some feet up against the passenger window. It was an odd time of day for someone to be sleeping and it was hot. I shouted a few times to see if everything was OK and there was no movement. I blew my whistle a few times and still there was no movement. I thought to myself I hope there's nothing wrong cause its out in the middle of no where. I whistled again and finally a head popped up. Someone was just sleeping. As I got a little ways down the road I saw an RCMP vehicle pull up behind her. Someone must have called it in.
Today was so hot. With the humidity it was in the high 30s. I hadn't felt this kind of heat since Ottawa. The air was so think it made breathing more difficult.
Even animals need compassion and kindness!
