Day 142 - Carberry

It had been hot and muggy sleeping but the morning was cooler. It was going to be hot later in the day. There were a few more hills today. Lots of trains passed. At one point there was a train coming in both directions and I couldn't see that there were two tracks. It looked like they were going to hit but of course they didn't. I passed a deer that had been killed and the smell was horrible. It was a few days old. It was labour day weekend and not much traffic on the road. I thought about my family and what everyone was up to. I was a bit homesick today.
