This morning I started singing the song, "Hold on tight to your dreams." I was getting closer to Alberta and getting excited about that. I'm not much of a singer. If Gidget could talk she would tell you I can't carry a tune. If she had ears I'm sure she would wear ear plugs.
I saw a couple more antelopes running in the fields. I love to watch them. They are so graceful. I met a cyclist from Calgary who was on his way to Winnipeg. It made me wonder about the other cyclists I had met throughout the summer. All of whom are home by now.
It started to rain a few miles before I reached the Maple Creek junction. I was glad to see a restaurant and a motel.
Even animals need compassion and kindness!
