There was so much traffic on the highway today. People heading home after the long weekend. There wasn't many honks. It felt like a lot of climbing today because of the rolling hills. I came to quite the hill approaching Mattawa. I was glad I was going downhill. I met two young boys on bikes on my way down, Karl & Joel. They donated the only dollar they had in their pocket. I thought that was great that they understood how important this is.
I stopped at the Valois Motel in Mattawa and called Blanche-Helene. While we were driving to her place I was thinking how she hadn't changed much. There is a strong resemblance between her and my older sister. They have a beautiful home in the country. I met two of her sons Anthony & Alexandre who were working on a race car in the garage. Inside I met her grandson Dali. Her husband Noel made a great roast beef dinner. We visited for a bit and then called it a night.
Even animals need compassion and kindness!
