Day 73 - Arnprior

I named my stroller Gidget. She's my road buddy and carries all my weight. Today Gidget has a flat. Fortunately i didn't have to push her today and would fix her up later.

My friend Andree and her dog Max picked me up early and they would be my support on route to Arnprior. It was soooo hot and humid. It was going to be a long day. I was sooooo happy to have someone with me today in this heat.

At one point we came up to Tripp Farm where we met Brent. He brought out some nice cold water in a Senators mug. He was really nice.

When we got to Pembroke we stopped at the Humane Society where we met Steph and Jill and their shelter animals. Peter from the Arnprior Chronicle met us there and took some pictures and did an interview. It was great visiting with them and touring their shelter.

My friend Lynda who lives in Renfrew met up with us at Tim Horton's. I would stay with them for the next couple of nights thru this area.
